Log Conveyor Line
Log Infeed Lines is the first section in plywood veneer mills and timber saw mills, which overcomes the challenge of conveyor speed yield optimization. Efficiently convey log from the log storage yard to the designated production workshop.
Log Loading Deck

The log infeed line runs faster than the outfeed conveyor in order to pull a gap between the logs long enough to accommodate kicking them into the log decks.
The log pushers are pivoting steel paddles that kick out from the flush log infeed line wall to push a log off the log infeed line. The paddles pivot on the upstream end so that when extended the paddles deflect the log towards the log deck. The pivot is actuated via a shaft-mounted Reducer with a crank arm. This provides quick and smooth operation as well the ability to control the actuation speed throughout the kicker stroke.
- The machine must be placed on a flat horizontal surfac
- Be sure to turn off the log infeed lines before leaving. Do not carry equipment with the engine running.
- You can only process logs whose diameter does not exceed the allowable dimensions for this equipment. Otherwise, it will lead to damage to the equipment.
- Care must be taken to ensure that the logs do not contain metal or other foreign objects.
If the situation recurs, set the wood aside and inspect it. It is possible that metal fragments or other foreign matter are stuck in it.
In case of any extraneous noise, changes in the sound of the engine running, the appearance of odors or smoke, the work should be stopped before troubleshooting.
After the end of the working day, it is necessary to clean the area of work from chips, bark and other wood waste, which can cause bruising or personal injury.
